Commercial Development and Investment in Coastal Ecuador
I first fell in love with Montanita on our first visit in 2006 after traveling to different surf towns throughout Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru and Indonesia. The laid back artisan bohemian nature of the town mixed with an authentic ecuadorian experience and incredible surf was a magnet for me and although I didn't know at that point it would be my future home, I always knew it would be a place we would return.
Over the years Montanita hasn't changed very much. Its maintains the bohemian feeling, and uncrowded surf and the small pueblo of Montanita and surrounding towns still feel like tropical paradise.
Its our goal at Montanita Estates to maintain the culture of Montanita while contributing to the town with unique projects that add variety and character.
Since we've arrived we've put together an incredible team of builders, developers, architects, managers, lawyers, facilitators/assimilators to assist our guests and partners in coastal Ecuador. We also have developed the platform through our website, google SEO marketing, centrally located office and Montanita Estates Team to deliver a comprehensive package to find, build and sell our projects.
We aren't the only ones with the dream of living in a place like Montanita, and we open to others who share a similiar vision and values for investment and development.

San Jose Ocean Blue HillThis 2500 square foot house was the first built in our San Jose Ocean Blue Development. The high end luxury house was completed in 4 months and started as a spec house and sold to the first customer that walked through it in less than 10 minutes. The house is built into the side of a high hill with panoramic ocean views, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, ultra high end finishings, water filtration system, and generator.

Beachfront in ManglaraltoThis beachfront home 3000 sq. ft home in Manglaralto must be one of the most beautiful on the southern coast. It includes ultra high end furnishings a pool and jacuzzi and sits right on the beach just south of Montanita. This home was built with significant input from its owner, a builder in Canada, and through this partnership we were able to deliver a design and finishings that met the highest aspirations.

800 sq. ft. Infiniti Pool and Jacuzzi with IPE DeckThis beautiful one of a kind pool, jacuzzi and deck was our first project in Montanita. We built an 800 sq ft infiniti pool with 4000 sq ft Guayacan (IPE) deck on a beautiful ocean view mountaintop in San Jose just 5 minutes north of Montanita. This is the perfect tropical pool that you need to see in person to truly appreciate.

Ocean Blue Hill - San Jose Hilltop DevelopmentOcean Blue Hill was our first devolopment in San Jose that started with 20 lots and now are down to our last 3 lots. With our partners Montanita Estates we identified and bought the land land, completed all of the topography work necessary to fraction the lots, fractioned the land so each of the 20 lots has Escrtitura, installed roads, and an electricity and water system to support the development and sold all but 3 lots off through our marketing and network in the US and Ecuador.
From the point Montanita Estates aquired the land to the first lot legally being sold was 3 months. |

Ocean View Hill - Rio Chico DevelopmentRio Chico is Montanita Estates newest development. After identifying an abandoned shrimp farm our team negotiated and developed the 3 hectare parcel and in just 3 months have 28 ocean view lots for sale. In just our 4th month working on the project we've sold our first 2 houses and are currently have 4 spec houses with plans completed and scheduled for completion in January 2014

This Manglaralto property is a 5 min. drive to Montanita and the beach. The entire property has 8 different ocean view mountains, each with flat areas for houses or a hotel. Montanita Estates - Pool, Jacuzzi, LoungeAfter a few months open and speaking with our customers at Montanita Estates we determined that we were in order to ensure our guests could completely relax and unwind on their visit to Montanita we needed a pool that accentuated the tropical experience and atmosphere of the town. In July we broke ground on our new pool jacuzzi and lounge and it will be open for our guests Sept 15 2013. The pool/lounge area is over 12000 sq. ft and includes, a kids area, tropical, gardens and beautiful tiki lounge area with pool, kids pool, waterfall and jacuzzi.

Rio Chico Spec HousesThe designs and plans are done and the financing is in. Ocean View will have 4 spec houses breaking ground at the end of September and scheduled for completion in January. Finished houses will begin at $115,000 up to $250,000.
